Ashcraft & Gerel LLP is one of the largest personal injury law firms in the nation with a practice limited exclusively to representation of the victims of civil wrongs, or torts. Over the past 57 years the firm has grown to six offices and approximately 40 lawyers, all of whom devote their exclusive efforts to personal injury litigation. Our principal locations are in Washington, D.C., Maryland (three offices), and Virginia (two offices).  However, many of our attorneys are licensed to practice in other jurisdictions, and we frequently take cases or act as associates in other states.

Ashcraft & Gerel LLP is also a member firm in the much larger, national law firm of Herman Gerel LLP. This national firm was founded to represent the huge numbers of consumer or user victims created by corporate greed and wrongdoing.

By representing only the plaintiff's side in litigation, we are able to avoid divided loyalties and at the same time provide aggressive and high quality representation. Our experience and resources have produced a large number of multi-million dollar settlements and judgments in a wide variety of individual cases and mass tort litigation.
