William F. Mulroney
William F. Mulroney is a Senior Partner with Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP and was born in Rockville Centre, New York. He attended the College of the Holy Cross, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1972, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1975. During his time in law school, he interned as a law clerk for a New York State Supreme Court Judge, the Honorable Mario Pittoni, from 1975 to 1976.
Mr. Mulroney was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1976, the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1983 and the Maryland Bar in 1986. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the Maryland Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Mulroney is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Client Protection Fund of the Bar of Maryland, the District of Columbia Bar, the Library Company of the Baltimore Bar, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Prince Georges County Bar Association.
He is a frequent speaker for numerous seminars sponsored by various labor unions. In addition, he attends and often addresses the participants at the annual AFLCIO conference.
Mr. Mulroney began his legal career with Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP in 1976, practicing in the field of construction and automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, asbestos litigation, medical malpractice, and serious personal injury. He has been successful in arguing cases before the Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
