Actos – Bladder Cancer – New Lawsuits Over This Diabetes Drug

One of the latest drug lawsuits Ashcraft & Gerel has undertaken arises out of the discovery of an association between the diabetes drug Actos and bladder cancer. Actos is in the class of drugs known as glitazones, which are utilized in the treatment of diabetes. They lower blood glucose levels and increase the body’s sensitivity to insulin. The study that raised concerns about the association of Actos to bladder cancer came out of Europe and resulted in the banning of the drug in Europe and France. There has not yet been a recall in the United States, but the FDA has issued a warning. Ashcraft & Gerel’s pharmaceutical lawyers are investigating claims arising out of Actos. More information can be found by clicking here to visit our web page on Actos.
