Richard is an attorney handling personal injury matters at Ashcraft & Gerel. Richard brings more than a decade of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in negligence, contract, and other civil matters in courts in every corner of Virginia.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Richard went to college in Louisiana before moving to Virginia to attend George Mason University School of Law where he developed an interest in litigation. After graduation, Richard became a member of the Virginia, and more recently, D.C. bar.

Richard comes to Ashcraft & Gerel from a personal injury firm in D.C.. Before that, he worked for a national insurance defense firm in Tysons Corner and a boutique general litigation firm in Old Town Alexandria.
