Bio
A native of Georgetown, KY, Brandon is a proud Hampton University alumnus. He graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Minor in Leadership Studies.
He went on to attend Florida A&M University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate. While in law school, Brandon was a law clerk for the Honorable Theotis Bronson, a volunteer with the YMCA Teen Achievers, and was a Student Attorney at the Orange County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Brandon began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Charles County, Maryland, where he tried matters ranging from jailable traffic to attempted murder. Wanting to expand his practice areas, Brandon then served as staff counsel at a large insurance carrier. As a result, he brings his unique understanding of defense tactics and valuation of claims a Prelitigation Associate in the general negligence practice.
Outside the Courtroom Brandon loves serving his community, as reflected through his involvement in local church and community awareness organizations, volunteering with Teen Court, and being a big brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He is a mentor for pre-law students in the Bridge Builders program and a mentor for bar takers in partnership with CLEO. Additionally, Brandon is an ambassador for the National Museum of African American History and Culture. In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, reading, and playing spades. He resides in Crystal City with his wife, Erika, and their Cavapoo, Orlando.
