Joe McNally BIO
Joe McNally focuses his practice on Virginia workers’ compensation law, representing injured workers before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and Court of Appeals of Virginia. Joe earned his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he received CALI Awards in Agency and Partnership Law as well as Selected Topics in Virginia Law after obtaining the highest score in each respective class. Additionally, he worked with the Pro Bono Housing Law Program educating tenants on their rights against landlords in housing dispute claims. He also represented juveniles in delinquency and immigration matters through the Children’s Defense Clinic. Prior to joining Ashcraft & Gerel, Joe’s practice focused on representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in defending workers’ compensation claims, contributing to his thorough knowledge of workers’ compensation laws in Virginia.
Prior to obtaining his law degree, Joe was an instructor of photography and digital art at The Knox School in St. James, NY, as well as Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood, NY. He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in fine arts. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
