Michael C. Lind has grown his practice from the ground up, one client at a time. He sincerely cares about his clients' goals and objectives throughout their case and goes to great lengths to help his clients attain those goals and objectives. He also recognizes that a client's goals may change over time during a case and is able to adapt and adjust his representation strategy on behalf of each client according to their particular needs.
Michael C. Lind earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in Economics and Political Science, from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1996, where he also played four years of Division III college basketball for Coaches Bob Valvano (1992-1994) and Bob Flynn (1994-1996). He then earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1999.
Mr. Lind began his legal career in 1999 working as a Law Clerk for three judges, Judges Simpson, Warren and Davis at the Circuit Court for Wicomico County. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Lind practiced insurance defense litigation at Lord & Whip, P.A. From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Lind represented injured individuals at Schulman, Treem, Kaminkow, Gilden & Ravenell, P.A.
Mr. Lind continued representing injured individuals at Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP from 2010 to 2016. He then became a partner at the law firm of Macleay & Lind, LLC from December 2016 through December 2017. In December 2017, Mr. Lind established the Law Office of Michael C. Lind, LLC and continued to aggressively represent his clients for another two and a half years.
On July 13, 2020, Mr. Lind returned to Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP in his Of Counsel position and will continue his efforts to provide quality representation to injured individuals as he has done for many years.
