Robert Flack is a partner at Ashcraft & Gerel, where he focuses on cases related to workers’ compensation and Social Security disability claims, as well as on helping victims of car accidents recover damages.
With over 30 years of experience as a litigator—all at Ashcraft & Gerel—Mr. Flack has a built a reputation for honesty, persistence, and collegiality among his peers. To his clients, he is a responsive and dedicated advocate, ensuring each of their needs and concerns are addressed as quickly as possible as he guides them during the course of their respective case.
Early Years
Prior to joining Ashcraft & Gerel’s Landover office, Mr. Flack was a law clerk immediately after law school. As a testament to the ways in which Mr. Flack approaches his work, he sees his non-legal experiences—many in unglamorous positions, including a stint as a custodian—as just as important (if not more) than this enviable clerkship. Many of these have given him a deep appreciation for hard physical labor and the lives of many who take on these often very difficult, tiring occupations for much longer than he did.
Outside the Courtroom
Mr. Flack is an active tennis and basketball player with a penchant for skiing in the winter months. Much to the chagrin of many of his fellow Marylanders, he is a Philadelphia sports fan, though he wins back their favor by following the University of Maryland Terrapins.
